Tara L. Torrens is a fixed income portfolio manager at Capital Group. She also serves on the Fixed Income Management Committee. She has 20 years of investment industry experience, all with Capital Group. Earlier in her career at Capital, as a fixed income investment analyst, she covered high-yield corporate bonds in the airline and transportation industries, aerospace & defense, autos & auto suppliers, truck manufacturing, homebuilders, retail and southeastern utilities. She holds both a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Tara is based in New York.
