Olufunmilayo (Funmi) Nubi is an equity portfolio strategy manager at Capital Group. She has 19 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for two years. Prior to joining Capital, she worked at BlackRock managing portfolios for both active and passive strategies across various asset classes and products. Most recently she was a director within BlackRock’s Indexing business covering both Institutional and ETF products. Before that, she was a portfolio analyst at SSGA in the U.K. with a focus on active and enhanced equity portfolio management. She holds a master's degree in financial economics from Durham University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria. Funmi is based in New York.
