Michael Beckwith is a portfolio manager at Capital Group. He has 22 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for five years. Prior to joining Capital, Michael was managing director at Maverick Capital where he was a sector head overseeing global industrials and financials. Before that, Michael held investment roles at Sequoia Capital and Andor Capital Management. Earlier in his career, Michael was an equity investment analyst covering global technology, industrial and financial companies. He holds a juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelor's degree in history from Middlebury College. Michael is based in San Francisco.
