Jeremy Burge is an equity portfolio manager at Capital Group. He is chair of Capital International Asset Management (Canada), Inc., part of Capital Group. Earlier in his career at Capital, as an analyst, he covered Canada as a generalist, as well as North American/European financials. The latter coverage included, over time, Canadian financials, U.S. banks and brokers, U.S. and European diversified financials (exchanges, traditional and alternate asset managers) and European infrastructure and professional publishers. He has 42 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for 22 years. Before joining Capital, he worked at Toronto-Dominion Bank, serving as managing director of institutional equities and as a telecommunications and media research analyst. He holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in economics from the University of Nottingham. Jeremy is based in Toronto.
