Irene Chen is a pension solutions analyst at Capital Group, home of American Funds. She has five years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for two years. Prior to joining Capital, Irene worked as a pension solutions associate at PIMCO. She holds a master's degree in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of California, Berkeley, a master's degree in financial engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and a bachelor's degree in economics from Wuhan University, China. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Irene is based in Los Angeles.
