The Securities and Exchange Commission is implementing regulations that change the mailing and formatting requirements of annual and semi-annual reports sent from mutual fund companies to their investors. These changes will streamline reports to highlight key information, making them shorter and easier to understand. Some information, like portfolio and financial statements, will be available online but not included in the report.
Beginning in July 2024, Capital Group is required to mail an updated version of the report for each fund and share class owned to all investors who have not enrolled in paperless delivery of their reports.
Investors who do not wish to receive paper reports via mail can log in to their account on the investor website and switch to paperless delivery. After they switch, they’ll receive an email when new or updated reports are available to view or download from our website. If your clients need help registering their accounts online to enroll in paperless delivery, use this single sheet to guide them through the process.
