Hightower operations exec departs for Carson Group

Jack Boyle has joined the $41bn firm as its senior vice president of RIA operations.
Jack Boyle, the chief executive of $156bn Hightower’s brokerage arm, has left the firm to join Carson Group, SEC filings show.
Boyle is now SVP of RIA operations at Carson, according to his LinkedIn profile. Boyle joined Hightower in 2019 from Charles Schwab and did double duty at the mega-RIA as both chief executive of brokerage unit Hightower Securities and managing director of operations for its core RIA business.
Neither Hightower nor Carson Group responded to requests for comment by press time. Boyle also did not return a request for comment via LinkedIn.
Scott Smith, a former managing director and head of product management with Hightower Advisors, has been promoted to the Hightower Securities chief executive position, according to his BrokerCheck and LinkedIn profiles. Smith has been with Hightower for six years.
