Hannah Moore talks Externship's evolution ahead of year 6

Amplified Planning's Externship program has emerged as one of the industry's most prominent early-career training programs over the last few years, backed by heavyweights like Charles Schwab and the CFP Board.
Entering its sixth year, Amplified Planning’s Externship program is slated for record turnout this summer.
The annual eight-week online training program, which was launched in 2020 by financial planner Hannah Moore, opened registration last week for its session beginning on June 2. Last summer, around 800 people completed the program; more than 2,000 were already on the waitlist for this year’s session prior to registration.
The program, which enlists the help of various industry experts, is designed to teach skills including investment, tax and estate planning to a mix of students, career-changers and new professionals in the field. Those who complete the program can put the experience toward industry certifications, as The Externship allots 500 CFP Board standard pathway hours and 180 Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education (AFCPE) experience hours.
