A former B. Riley Wealth Management executive has launched his own RIA firm.
Thomas Kowalczyk, who worked as an executive vice president and head of platform at the company until late last year, has launched a Dallas-area RIA called Steadtrust LLC.
His registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed on February 10 is pending 120-day approval, filings with the regulator show. Steadtrust has custody relationships with Fidelity, Raymond James and SEI Private Trust Company, a brochure filed with the SEC shows. The firm has not yet disclosed assets under management.
Kowalczyk started at B. Riley Wealth in July of 2022 after working as chief executive at Dallas-area RIA National Asset Management, according to his LinkedIn profile. He left B. Riley in December of 2024.
