Focus hub Kovitz adds $3bn Transform Wealth

Transform, based in the Denver area, has joined Kovitz, a Focus Partners Firm.
Kovitz, a Focus Partners Firm, has folded in a Denver-area Focus affiliate. 
Transform Wealth is joining Kovitz, a hub for M&A within the Focus Financial Partners network of wealth management firms. The deal with Transform is expected to add about $3bn to Kovitz’s existing assets under management, Focus announced. 
Further financial specifics of the deal were not disclosed. 
Transform has itself been a part of the Focus network since 2016. It is led by brothers Nathan and David Kubik, who serve as chief executive and president, respectively, of the firm. Per Focus, the deal complements Kovitz’s existing presence in the Mountain West region. 
In its latest Form ADV filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission roughly a year ago, Transform reported employing 16 advisors and serving over 1,600 clients.
