Fintech startup Seeds raises $2m with support from Ritholtz fund

Seeds Investor has completed its second capital raise, money the company says it will use to further develop its product offerings.
Fintech startup Seeds Investor has completed its second capital raise. 
The portfolio management platform said it has raised $2m in a seed funding round led by venture capital firm Blank Ventures, a new capital partner. Existing backers that participated in the round included venture firm Social Leverage and The Compound Capital Fund, a venture fund affiliated with $2.9bn New York City RIA Ritholtz Wealth Management. 
Investors have received equity ownership in Seeds; the company did not disclose further financial details. 
‘All of the investors, and arguably Ritholtz in particular, have a really strong understanding of the space we’re in,’ Seeds Investor chief executive and co-founder Zach Conway told Citywire. ‘The story of what we’re building resonated with those investors.’
