Serial RIA minority investor Constellation Wealth Capital has brought on Paul Sealy as its new chief financial officer and chief compliance officer, SEC records show. Sealy officially joined the firm in January of this year.
From 2002 to 2013, Sealy served as the CFO and controller at various private equity firms and hedge funds, including MatlinPatterson Capital Management, a private equity firm that bought distressed companies.
He then spent two years with alternative investment firm Cerberus Capital Management, which has roughly $85bn in assets across its platforms, according to SEC records. In 2015, Sealy got a call from the CEO of Arena Investors, a New York-based asset manager, which hired him as one of its first employees. He worked for Arena for seven years.
