Carina Diamond has been promoted to chief executive officer of the $1.3bn Cleveland RIA formerly known as Gries Financial Partners.
Diamond told Citywire that she and the leadership team have been working on a rebrand since she joined the firm last year. In filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) last week, the company revealed its new name: GFP Private Wealth. Diamond’s new title was also disclosed in regulatory filings.
Diamond joined Gries in September of 2024, taking the role of chief growth officer at parent company 4100 Group Financial Services. The former Dakota Wealth Management executive said
at the time she planned to wind down a consulting business that she’d formed upon leaving Dakota.
The rebranded GFP Private Wealth traces its roots to 1978, when it was launched by Sally Gries. The firm’s 30 employees and 18 advisors work with nearly 700 individual clients, including high net worth individuals and small institutions, it disclosed in last week’s filings.
