Kristen Nelson is a relationship manager at Capital Group. She has 23 years of industry experience and has been with Capital Group for five years. Earlier in her career at Capital, she was an institutional relationship specialist. Prior to joining Capital, Kristen worked as a senior customer engagement manager at Appirio, a Wipro Company. Before that, she was a senior operations manager at Oxford Financial Group, Ltd. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management from the University of St. Francis. She also holds the Project Management Professional certification. Kristen is based in Indianapolis.

Jan Gundersen is a senior investment director on Portfolio Solutions and Services at Capital Group, home of American Funds. He has 25 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for eight years. Prior to joining Capital, Jan worked as a managing director of advice and investment strategy at TIAA. He holds a master's degree in oceanography from Texas A&M University and a bachelor's degree in geology from Colgate University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Jan is based in Los Angeles.
