ERA was the largest privately-owned producer of TV programming in Taiwan, generating original Mandarin-language content. The company owned five leading cable networks in Taiwan, including three networks through an equity joint venture with TVB. Additionally, ERA was engaged in the distribution of theatrical films and home video products, publishing of magazines, ticketing, and owned a major baseball league in Taiwan.
