Manipal was a provider of higher education services in India and South Asia and a member of the Manipal Group. The Manipal Group, which was founded more than 50 years ago, is a leading private provider of higher education and healthcare services in India. The Group founded and ran the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, one of India's most prestigious private universities and the Group was particularly well known for its leading medical school.
