Who I work with

Many of my clients are multigenerational families whose goals range from planning for their financial and lifestyle needs to preparing legacies for their children or grandchildren to pursuing philanthropic endeavors for the betterment of their communities and the world. They are thoughtful stewards of their resources and deeply committed to their values. They want a caring and empathetic advisor who can assist them with complex financial matters.

Why I’m at Capital Group Private Client Services

I spend a great deal of time getting to know my clients. I believe it’s essential to understand who they are as people so that I can work toward what really matters to them. Capital Group Private Client Services shares this belief and provides me extensive time and resources to serve my clients. One of our company’s fundamental principles is that financial services is more than numbers. One of the most important things I do is take care of people and place their stories at the center of every decision we make together.

What informs my approach to serving clients

In some ways, I consider myself the “general contractor” of my clients’ financial lives. My legal training helps me work closely with a family’s outside advisors, such as estate planning attorneys or accountants, so that I can oversee their total financial picture, which often comprises different asset classes, trusts and ownership structures.

“As someone who enjoys reading books for the insights they provide into different worldviews, working with multigenerational families is especially rewarding. Every person is diverse and multifaceted, and I’m honored to learn about what matters to them and help them write their next chapter.”
